This painting, Woman & Horse, is acrylic on canvas. It depicts two dear friends walking together towards the summer pasture, and represents the deep bond that is possible between horse and human. Nancy E. Richards lives and works in Brevard, NC. Primarily a painter, she also experiments in multiple media, both studying and teaching art in many forms. Nancy uses watercolors, acrylics and pastels to express her deep love for color and the beauty of the natural world.
